Who can use Chottu

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Chottu is currently invite-only: you join with an invite code from someone who already uses it. Invite codes are personal and may not be sold.

You use Chottu through your own WhatsApp, Instagram or Telegram account, and you are responsible for what is done through it. Those apps' own terms also apply.

What Chottu does

Chottu is an AI assistant. It answers questions, keeps reminders, remembers what you tell it, and, when you ask, acts for you: in apps you connect, or by placing orders with shops and services.

Chottu can make mistakes. Check anything important before relying on it, and do not treat Chottu as medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Acting on your behalf

When you ask Chottu to do something, you authorise it to do that for you, using the apps and details you have given it. Chottu asks you to confirm before it places an order or spends money.

Orders are fulfilled by the shop or service you buy from, which is responsible for the goods, delivery, refunds and returns under its own terms. Payments are handled by our payment partner under its terms.

Using Chottu responsibly

You agree not to:

• break the law, or use Chottu to harm, harass, deceive or spam anyone;
• send content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes someone else's rights;
• try to get around Chottu's limits or safeguards, access other people's data, or disrupt the service;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer Chottu, or use it to build a competing service;
• use Chottu in a way that breaks WhatsApp's, Instagram's or Telegram's terms.

We may limit, suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

Your content

What you send Chottu stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it to run Chottu for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to share what you send.

Price, invites and rewards

Chottu is free to use today. If we ever charge for it, we will tell you first, and nothing will be charged without your agreement. Things you buy through Chottu cost what the shop charges.

Referral rewards are small credits for inviting friends. They have no cash value unless we say otherwise, and we may change or end them.

Changes and availability

Chottu is new and changing. We may add, change or remove features, and it may sometimes be unavailable. You can stop using Chottu at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

Chottu is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of shops, services and apps you use through Chottu.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell you in your chat with Chottu before it takes effect. Continuing to use Chottu after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
